This film tells of a driver(Ryan Gosling) living in Los Angeles, he worked as a mechanic but he has a job as a stunt driver for Hollywood movies and as a driver paid for criminal acts.
For the work of these criminal acts he has a rule to work for 5 minutes, more than it's not his responsibility. The driver's life began to change when meeting with a woman named irene(Carey Mulligan) who was already married and had a son. While the relationship to go instead to bring the driver to the road of crime, and problems began to come to the driver from the driver's own boss, Shannon (Brian Cranston), husband of Irene, Standard (Oscar Isaac), who claimed an italian jew, Nino (Ron Perlman) to the mafia boss, Bernie (Albert Brooks).
The difference of the film drive is first, drive is not like the usual Hollywood action movie. Unique is the drive does not show a lot of car chases but this film tells of car drivers. actions is only a secondary dish that is on the characters in this movie.
